Private is the New Public

Apparently your college just saw that last update and is now judging you on what you post on Facebook, what quotes you like, your favorite music and T.V. shows, and your friends. You now have to be more careful than ever on what you put on the internet and how people will portray you on what you post. This may also misrepresent your personality, your internet personality may be different than how you act one on one with people.

  1. I agree with what you say Ahmad. Internet personality =/= real personality. People can easily pretend to be someone they are not when they are online. On the contrary however, social media may also allow people to express who they truly are because they can say things they would not normally say in real life. Social media is a double edged sword when it comes to recruiting students.
